Colorimetric Imaging
Colorimetric imaging is used to visualize many histology stains and is a useful tool when studying highly auto-fluorescent samples. STELLα’s has a range of imaging instruments available to ensure we can best image your samples.
Fluorescent Imaging
Fluorescent imaging is used for fluorescent dyes and fluorophores, and multiplexed labeling designs can allow for simultaneous visualization of several specific targets. STELLα’s fluorescent microscopes allow for acquisition of high-resolution, multi-channel images.
Confocal Imaging
Confocal imaging uses fluorescently labeled samples and can image 3D volumes through the acquisition of z-stacks. STELLα’s Nikon AX R confocal allows us to rapidly acquire optical-sections and z-stacks that retain remarkable subcellular detail.
Slide Scanning
Slide scanning is designed for high-volume image acquisition and digital slide images have negate the risk of broken or misplaced slides. Our instrumentation allows STELLα’s microscopists to swiftly image your slides in a range of imaging modalities.
